Sunday stroll across Carbis Bay - 16/11/25.

Day two at The Basset Arms took us to Carbis Bay for a spa session with some of the best views over the beach you’ll find. We came out fully reset and wandered straight onto the sand for a slow Sunday stroll.

On a cloudy Sunday, there aren’t many better ways to spend the day than at Carbis Bay’s outdoor spa. From the hydro pool to the sauna with one of the best views in the country, or the hot tubs, it’s the perfect way to unwind. Even better, spa access was included in our Dine & Stay package at The Basset Arms, a great local tip and fantastic value for anyone visiting or living nearby.

After the spa, we walked down to Carbis Bay Beach. For me, one of the best beaches in the country. The waves were fairly big that Sunday, and we were lucky enough to be joined by three seals! This isn’t the first time we’ve spotted them here, so if you fancy seeing some seals yourself, it’s worth a trip. A great way to finish the weekend and soak up a bit of Sunday seaside before the working week.
